Notes
Sampling Methods
The analysed exhaust from the 20.2 MW (84% load) main engine was sampled through three holes in the exhaust pipe positioned ca. 25 m behind the engine and 40 m before the funnel exit plane. Properties of the particulate matter were investigated in the hot-exhaust gas sampled in a diluted and cooled gas sampled in the dilution system. (PM, OC and Sulphate) or on average with hot exhaust (only for EC and Ash). Ash data not inserted in the Db.
